Privacy policy

This policy explains what data vendear stores, why, and how to request deletion. It is written to be read, not to cover ourselves: if anything is unclear, write to hola@vendear.com.
What we store
- Your account: email and, if you sign in with Google, your profile name. Authentication is handled by Firebase (Google).
- Your business: name, description, chosen link, the WhatsApp and Instagram you add, and your catalog (products, prices, photos, stock).
- Orders: when a customer buys from a storefront they leave a name, email and order details. That data belongs to the selling business; we store it so it reaches them.
- Conversations with the AI salesperson: stored so the assistant has context and so the business owner can read what was answered.
What we do NOT store
- Card data: payments are processed by Mercado Pago or PayPal on their own platforms. We never see or store card numbers.
- Browsing data for advertising: we use no advertising cookies and sell no data to third parties.
Who it is shared with
- Google Firebase: account authentication and photo storage.
- Our backend infrastructure (platform API) and Vercel (site hosting).
- Mercado Pago / PayPal: only if the business connects those payment methods; the payment happens on the provider's platform.
- No one else. No data is sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention and deletion
Your data lives while your account exists. You can unpublish your storefront anytime from your dashboard.
To delete your account and all associated data (catalog, conversations, orders), write to hola@vendear.com from your account email and we will process it. Order data may be kept as long as the selling business's tax obligations require.
