Terms and conditions

Last updated: August 2026

vendear gives you an online store with an AI salesperson. These terms explain what the service does, what each party is responsible for, and how purchases work.

What vendear is

vendear publishes your business catalog as a web page with its own link and an AI sales assistant that answers your customers. The base service is free today; if paid capabilities arrive, you will choose whether you want them before paying anything.

vendear is not a party to the sale

Each storefront belongs to the business that publishes it. The sale happens between that business and its customer: price, delivery, returns and warranty are the selling business's responsibility. vendear provides the platform; it does not sell the products or take part in the transaction.

Payments, when enabled by the business, are processed by Mercado Pago or PayPal on those providers' platforms, using the business's own accounts.

About the AI salesperson

  • The assistant answers using the catalog the business uploaded. If something is not in the catalog it should not make it up — but like any AI it can be wrong: the binding information is what the business confirms.
  • The assistant never confirms payments. It can explain how to pay and notify the business, but only the seller confirms a payment by checking their account.
  • The business owner can read their storefront's conversations from their dashboard.

Business responsibilities

  • Publish only legal content you own, with real prices.
  • Keep the catalog up to date: the assistant answers with what is loaded.
  • Handle the orders you receive and meet applicable tax and consumer obligations.

Suspension and changes

We may unpublish storefronts with illegal or misleading content or abusive use of the service, notifying the account email except in urgent cases.

If these terms change, the date above is updated and relevant changes are notified to your account email. Continued use of the service means acceptance.
